October 16, 2019 Reply ShadyFIF I'm probably more pro-life, probably like 60/40 but I definitely think abortion should always be an option but to an extent. I think abortions should only be performed if it's going to cause major health issues or maybe they are just not ready. What I disagree with, is late abortions. Abortion should only be allowed to a certain point of the pregnancy but deciding late in the pregnancy is just completely irresponsible in my opinion. Late abortions should only be performed if it causes a major health issues and that's it. This is just my stance on this and I think that's fair, in my opinion. If a woman can decide she wants to not be financially responsible for a child she can either terminate the pregnancy, or she can give the kid up for adoption. Why do we hold men to higher standards than women? We say to men "maybe you should never have had sex then!". But if we say that same thing to women, somehow that is sexist and oppressive? Double standard for sure. October 16, 2019 Reply Cami There are soooo many children suffering right now that we should take care of them and love them before we bring in more children to this population that will either replace that love for existing children who already need it or just add more neglected children to this world. I think that would help future generations of when these children are all grown up. There will be less adults having to deal with the horrible consequences of their childhood whether they were neglected, abandoned, physically or emotionally abused, malnourished, etc. October 17, 2019 Reply That’sInteresting pro choice change my mind? i want to see your guy’s arguments. like actual scientific facts other than religion and the embryo having a “soul”. October 17, 2019 Reply Ozymandias Women should get to choose what happens to their body but that doesn't mean it's disregarding human life.Infact science does not tell that an unborn fetus is human, it tells that it becomes human after various stages of growth during the pregnancy. After conception what is formed is a singled cell zygote that cannot be differentiated as a human being. It becomes a morula at 4-5th day it's only after that it implant it self on the uterus. It takes even more time to form both a brain and heart. Until then the zygote is still a clump of cells . If your going to justify with nail growth and hair it still not reasonable because such nail growth and hair growth is still seen in a tumor of the uterus called teratoma, which we do choose to remove. I am not comparing a fetus to a tumor, I am just giving an example. I am against abortion of fully functioning fetus but in early stages when they are not fully formed as a fetus(human being) I do support abortion due to health risks(cardiac disease, chronic glomerulonephritis, malignant hypertension, etc) caused by pregnancy leading to endangerment both mother and child, and in contraceptive failure pregnancy. This itself shows why mothers should have the right to choose.. they are the ones who is physically carrying the pregnancy in which it can make both physical and mental strain on them. There are cases where mothers died from disorders such as preclampsia and gestational diabetes. And stress is 18% cases the cause of preclampsia. Not only that some after delivery have other serious repercussions such as varicose veins, hernia, vaginal tear and infection, postpartum bipolar disorders, depression, etc. October 17, 2019 Reply ghmoro hat? You cannot convince me that if a woman is sexually assaulted she must keep that baby. Or that a mother who is young and under the age of consent. You can argue with the term abstinence but that doesn't mean cases outside of consensual sex leading to pregnancy don't happen. A foetus does NOT have conscious and if aborting the child means not raising a kid knowing that it is the product of trauma or that their mother is not stable or old enough to care for it I believe it's worth it. Why would you want to subject a child to the feeling of loneliness that is experienced by kids thrown into the foster/adoptive system? October 21, 2019 Reply Tomer K We MUST get this black girl’s skin routine October 21, 2019 Reply vv pro-life people should adopt those unwanted children they claim to care so deeply about. it’s not good enough to only support the baby until it’s out of the womb and then assume they will not be neglected by the world they are born into. the adoption and foster system does not guarantee a safe and happy life for every child, handing over the responsibility to an institution is far from the convenient solution the pro-life argument makes it out to be. millions of children will live their entire lives without families, never being loved or provided for. is that the beautiful opportunity at life those children deserve? OF COURSE they have the same inherent value as children born into privilege 10000%, I just think it’s contradictory and ignorant to fight for the rights of a fetus but ignore the overwhelming likelihood that that life will be filled with suffering, not opportunity.TLDR: fight for children, not just fetuses October 22, 2019 Reply ASMR RELAX I don't believe anyone should have an abortion. October 22, 2019 Reply Emmanuel Lopez The number one reason why women have abortions is because they were not ready for a child. So basically, everyone is telling others that they should go against their own religion and/or belief and join+support theirs. People are a part of different religions, some aren’t even religious. October 28, 2019 Reply Keep It Movin' How about the nation votes every 4 years on whether or not abortions should be legal? If the majority of citizens vote to keep them legal, then they remain legal. If not, then a second vote occurs, but only for those who are registered as being Pro-Life. All those who are Pro-Life vote on which exceptions they’re willing to allow for abortions (be it no exceptions or if the mother’s life is in danger or rape or whatever.) Now, let’s say the majority say abortions are wrong for every reason. Then every registered Pro-Life person has their wages garnished at the maximum level set since no exception for abortions were allowed by the majority of the Pro-Life sect (lower garnishments for the more exceptions they allow or if they foster or adopt themselves.) The funds from garnishes go to raising the children that were made to be forcibly carried to term for 18 years who were not adopted and to cover the costs of all it takes for Pro-Choice women who do not want to carry to term (medical costs, clothing, mental counselling for women forcibly impregnated, funeral costs of women who’ve died during childbirth, etc.) The Pro-Life sect won’t be paying for the women of the Pro-Choice sect getting pregnant without consent. They’ll be paying for their decision to force women to carry to term. If in the next vote, abortions are made legal again, then wages garnished will be reduced to cover only the children forcibly carried to term from the last vote **Bing-Bang-Boom** the Pro-Choice sect has their fears quelled that the children may not have stable lives, will be well taken care of and won’t be considered a burden on society. The Pro-Life sect is happy that unborn chil’rens will be not be aborted. October 29, 2019 Reply Boy With A Bible I'm Pro-Life, but I know different situations can make it difficult to choose. For instance, if someone plays the prostitute and goes out and gets pregnant, they need to live with their mistake, not murder the baby. But there are some situations which are difficult to answer. For instance, what if a woman had some complications, and would die if the baby didn't? What do you do then? It's these kinds of questions that fluctuate the answer. But for the most part, a lot of the abortions are unnecessary and frankly selfish. October 29, 2019 Reply Reese James I can respect if you are pro-life for yourself and your body. October 31, 2019 Reply Phyllicia Field hmmm…… so…. science has made some not so great and some rly great discoveries… science has fouund a way to terminate a pregnancy. This is a fact of life. So we start there. okThen we have "feminists" who have the perspective of giving females a CHOICE, over their own bodies.Theres the science side of pregnancy, along with the emotional side: science says a fetus cannot survive without the mother's body growing it. Emotions say, it is still a baby, a life. Then we take a look at the state of society. An important point made was just how many children in our world are neglected and not healthfully loved, and even abused. So yes, it's great many people are adopting unwanted children, but then there are still so many children unwanted and uncared for regardless of the adoption option. Regardless of abortion being an option or not – I think we need to rly focus on the main issues at hand: improved knowledge around sexual protection (birth control options, education regarding abortion & pregnancy & parenting, etc), male toxicity & rape, and the care for our current children (who arent receiving it). These are the real important issues surrounding this subject. Let's lesson the chance of a woman turning to abortion, but still give her that option. October 31, 2019 Reply Frijole Queen I have a son. Unplanned pregnancy at 19. I would never choose an abortion shy of medical necessity. But having a child, knowing the intense level of not only love, but sacrifice you MUST give for this person completely dependent on you. Especially women. Pregnancy is so hard. Newborns are so hard. Toddlers are hard. But for the REST of your life you get up and you pour from an empty glass to make a life for your children. And to ask every woman who gets pregnant to make that sacrifice is asking too much. Not everyone is as fortunate as say I was, to have the support and ability to take care of a baby. Up until a certain point, which is a really grey area, fetuses or embryos are just potential human life. But they are not equal to a newborn baby or child. It is fact you endanger women by restricting their access to reproductive healthcare including abortions. October 31, 2019 Reply William Lovett Don't like slaves? Don't own one. I think the root of the problem is reaching people morals and how to respect themselves and have patients. I’ve seen too many men and women, young girls and boys who idolize sex. It’s not healthy at all. This era needs to get their morals in line. Rape, incest, abortions- the majority of them happen because sex is promoted so much now. We haven’t kept it sacred and that’s where we have failed as a society. All of this could be solved or at least the rates would be lower if we just stopped promoting people to have sex with just anyone “live your life”. Cause no that just spreads stds, increases raped and abortions. Women were right when they said men act like pigs, they were wrong when they said they should act like pigs too.We took a several steps back, and just cause bigger problems. I’m not religious. I just believe we should have morals and set standards for ourselves. Be respectful and love ourselves first… this means respecting your body and promoting your self growth. Sex shouldn’t be treated like a throw away item. It should be special and between someone you love. Cause 9x our of 10 after you have sex with someone one grows more attracted than the other and there grows the problems from there. Keep sex sacred and only for the most amazing person in your life.
