Natural Eye Regeneration Program – What to Expect

Hi, I’m Ryan Longenecker. I’m an
Acupuncturist and Herbalist with a focus on natural ophthalmology. I’ve been in
practice since 2008 and focus on degenerative eye disease since 2015.
Truth is, I didn’t know we could treat a lot of these conditions before, and the
demand came from my patients. They made me aware of some people that are doing some awesome work using acupuncture to help people that are going blind. So once I
found this out I studied with many masters and leaders in this field from
around the world and I’m proud to be getting some awesome results with people who are living with these conditions every day. Some of the more common conditions we
treat include macular degeneration, retinitis pigmentosa, glaucoma, diabetic
retinopathy, optic nerve atrophy, and many more. If you didn’t hear your condition,
please don’t hesitate to reach out to us to see if we can help you. For most these eye conditions, unfortunately they are degenerative, so they only get worse with
time. And really, what happens, is that the cells at the back of the eye start to get sick,
or they go into dormancy, and that’s when you start to lose your vision. So really,
the goal of the treatment is to increase blood flow there which then increases
more oxygen, increases more micronutrients and as well we are
increasing the nerve stimulation to the back of the eye. This can then help to
wake up these cells that become dormant and help to increase vision or try and
keep your vision as long as possible. Plateau is always a great thing,
sometimes we do see an increase in vision as well. To do that we use specific forms of acupuncture called Microacupuncture and AcuNova, and
these are specific to treat eye conditions. Most of needles go in the
hands and feet and around the eye none of the needles go into the eye,
that’s really important. Really, it’s a really safe procedure – the only risks include some minor bruising as well as some sore sensations afterwards,
which are pretty temporary. We’ve found that in order to make significant change to
the complex eye tissue, treatments do need to be performed multiple times in a
short window. So while our recommendations do vary patient to patient we typically recommend two treatments a day for two weeks For out-of-town patients, we can compress this to four treatments a day in one week. To get the best effects we combine
the treatments with several other modalities. So on your first day, you’re
going to see our associated Naturopathic doctor who will give you an intravenous
vitamin therapy injection. The idea behind this is that as we’re increasing blood circulation to the eye we also want to deliver a massive amount of
healthy micronutrients which help in healing and regenerating the eye tissue. When we talk about eye health, it’s really key to get the micronutrients
into your bloodstream which then acupuncture improves the flow of that
more micro nutrient rich blood to the eye. The key nutrients we want to get
in, in the vision protocol, would be Vitamin C, Magnesium, Selenium, Taurine, and my favorite, Glutathione. We’re also going to go over a detailed list of foods and supplements that are best for your condition and we’re also going to give
you a traditional Chinese medicine herbal formula. Depending on your
condition, to enhance the effect of the acupuncture we may also add a
stimulation of millicurrent, which research has shown to benefit the eyes. In between treatments, we’ll also provide you with a microcurrent device. Research
has shown this has really helped to regenerate retinal tissue and helps with
vision. And, this unit can be used at home as well. We also include laser
acupuncture which is a great substitute for acupuncture. It’s also good for kids,
and those who are squeamish of needles. We’re so happy to have the opportunity
to help you with your vision, and look forward to hearing from you. If you have any
questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out and contact us.
