Whether the condition is simplistic or complicated,
it’s my job to make that diagnosis understandable for the patient so they feel at ease – so
we can formulate a plan and a therapy. It’s a great feeling to take someone who’s
lost vision and improve it and make them functional again. There is really nothing like it, when
someone has 20/200 vision or has a macula-off retinal detachment, and you surgically repair
it, and they improve considerably.
