Keep it up! January 8, 2015 Reply Jake Round I'd have to agree I was planning on picking a MBA for college, but the rumours have put me off buying a 2014 model. I absolutely have mixed opinions about these design changes if they are legit. Great video 👍 January 8, 2015 Reply VALIDIE Personally, my only complain is about the ports. Like at least have ONE extra usb. January 8, 2015 Reply Akram Choudhary 8980 subscribers. Prepare for a load of dragonball z references lol January 8, 2015 Reply Winson 22 这消息一直在传了，应该是真的，中国这边做保密挺差的，在厂里面生产零部件的时候会流传出来 January 8, 2015 Reply Sami Dalao Totally agree! January 8, 2015 Reply david hancock Will keep my 2014 mba 13 in. January 8, 2015 Reply UnknownUser Can't wait to see all the adapters for this thing… January 8, 2015 Reply FIFA Marcus You are looking at it wrong. When you are at school, you do not need to have more than one port, in fact you rarely ever need a port. (Only for usb drives..) And yes, the clickable trackpad is nice, I will give you that. But I think it's worth it, when you consider that it's probably going to make it 2-5 mm thinner. And the fans? They are becoming more and more irrelevant as processors gets improved. So really, I think this is a nice type of innovation. Without it, the MacBook Air would never get thinner. Just think about how many sacrifices the first air had, and then think about how much of that they fixed in the next gen. I think this would be a amazing Mac for students. January 8, 2015 Reply someone I literally hate it so much January 8, 2015 Reply Dan Paul Dumb idea to remove the fans January 8, 2015 Reply Ronny Roxon it must be retina or i don't think i will buy due to so many compromises like ports or sd card or hdmi alrdy not on the 2014 air….hmmm windows 10 laptop could actually win me if this air has no retina January 8, 2015 Reply FIFA Marcus I didn't mean to be so harsh. But what I meant was:95% of "ordinary" people would like this new MacBook Air, because of the size. They do not need more than a port for 80% of the time, and when they do, they will just take out their adapter and use that (assuming Apple ships it with it free) I think that the argument of"youtubers will need more ports" are more or less irrelevant. You would not get a MacBook Air for video editing in the first place.I do agree with you, on the fact that it's a lot of compromises. But I think, that it's a good idea. However, had they done it with the pro line up, I would have been furious, cause then you obviously need the ports, for productivity. But we can agree on one thing. Apple will need to ship a cable with the MacBook Air, for free! It should be able to have like 2 usb and a thunderbolt and a charger. But very nice video, covering all the rumours great. A lot off opinion in it 😉 Have a nice day! January 8, 2015 Reply Imperial Tech i don't think lots of people are going to buy this device! January 8, 2015 Reply Andrew Caine When is mid 2015? January 12, 2015 Reply rawstarmusic Keep the 2 USB and remove the fan, that's it. Have no use for a mac without USB January 13, 2015 Reply Nick c. it is becoming an ios device in a sense. 1 port for everything and a headphone jack. January 14, 2015 Reply Yiğitcan Orak I'm a student. I'd like to buy a MacBook Air. Should i wait for this new Mac? January 14, 2015 Reply t800 i hope its not a $200 hub January 15, 2015 Reply Venetia Stone Will they release a gold version January 16, 2015 Reply Ben Ahmed Thinness in exchange of performance is a bad call. People buy macbook air because its got the capability of a computer in a small package. Sacrificing that will put it in the tablet category. A tablet with OS X. January 17, 2015 Reply Tristin filsinger In my opinion, I'm glad this MacBook Air is coming out……… Because the old ones will be cheaper 😇 January 18, 2015 Reply Donald Trump I Think It's totally Sucks January 18, 2015 Reply Russel Ramos Damn it 12" MBA Im hoping for a 13" MBAWith an Sd Card SlotAnd a Magsafe portAnd retina display I hope they continue the 13" model January 19, 2015 Reply Jitse Gabriels Will they also release a 2015 MacBook Pro? And do you guys have an idea when this wil happen approximately?Because I'm doubting to buy the current Pro if the 2015 releases around september. Thanks in advance! January 19, 2015 Reply GGMEHD How is everyone basing opinion on bs rumors? This is not an apple product, this is not an apple change. This is just a website trying to get some hits. These idiots constantly claim bs shit like the change in iPhone deployment schedules January 23, 2015 Reply patty lamb They might make it touch screen I've heard January 23, 2015 Reply Andy Wilderness So far the 2015 MacBook Air is not very impressive. I don't see why anyone would want this machine. January 24, 2015 Reply Mahbub Rahman So they are sacrificing the power by using Intel Core M chips. That's ridiculous. Air is already super portable. They shouldn't do it to make it more portable- I mean what's the point! January 24, 2015 Reply ChestyMD they need to make the current 13inch in different colors January 25, 2015 Reply Ethan Kizziar Good video man, keep em up January 25, 2015 Reply JUAN SINAAAAAAAAAAA No Apple wouldn't do stupid shit like that January 25, 2015 Reply SimplyBergman Dell made its laptop smaller without reducind screen size. And with real broadwell power, not Core M. So i think this is a step back for apple, more like a tablet atlernative, as you said. January 25, 2015 Reply S&S Pictures - Scott Sullivan Do you see them also releasing a 15" version? January 27, 2015 Reply Cris Romero Gutierrez According to the rumors, this is a horrible design. This supposed new design of the MacBook Air makes absolutely no sense. If it comes times that these rumors are true, I would never buy it. January 28, 2015 Reply JDN These rumors are pure BS. If they're true, Apple's probably shooting themselves in the foot. Apple should just wait for Skylake. January 28, 2015 Reply cookie zac guys Illuminati confirmed on his monitor background XD January 29, 2015 Reply Peator I want to buy a new MacBook but I am really stuck should I buy a new MacBook retina 15 inch model or wait till Apple release a new MacBook I am worried if I bought new MacBook for like 2599 dollars and Apple announce Something new like MacBook Pro with 5k retina display mine will be old and Not Cool and waste my money Should I wait or go for it January 30, 2015 Reply alex g i doubt they will make a retina macbook air because that is the only real difference between the macbook pro and air January 30, 2015 Reply Dan L USB Type-C? That immediately makes it not an option. Who cares how small it is if you have to carry around a damn hub with you everywhere. They're going backwards with this, if this is accurate. January 30, 2015 Reply OHP77 I agree. I don't see any point in making the Air so thin that you need to sacrifice basic functionality. The MagSafe port is an excellent feature that I wouldn't want to give up, but I could live without it. But only 1 port for everything? That's absurd. Ideally I want 2 free USB ports on a laptop: 1 for data transfer and 1 for peripherals like a mouse which I sometimes use for Photoshop. I was hoping I could get the new Air instead of a MBP due to the cost of even the cheapest MBP and because the 2015 MBP's are supposedly not going to be released until several months after the new Air comes out. But if these rumors are right, then this is giving up way too much and I'll just have to wait for the new Pros. January 31, 2015 Reply Corpulent Allgod If this is true then fuck them. I will get a 2014 version then. January 31, 2015 Reply brianna!! Hi, for awhile now I've been thinking of getting a Macbook Air, but I don't really know which model I should get anymore. I would really prefer to get the 13" over the 11" or the new 12", but I'm scared that since it is rumored to become discontinued after the 12" comes out, they'll stop making updates and such for it. I would really prefer not to get the 12", the smaller size does NOT make up for the lack of specs in my opinion. What do you think? Should I buy the 13" before the 12" comes out, or wait to see what happens with it? January 31, 2015 Reply Daniel Yes, but will it bend? 😉 January 31, 2015 Reply Vern Lovic The 12 inch is a ridiculous size. If they make a 14 or 15" macbook air with retina – yeah, now you're talking. And to take away the ports is ludicrous. And to make it thinner than the old airs is frickcockulous. Then, to shrink the keyboard, is plain LUNACY. Fire Tim Cook and get someone in there that can start REVOLUTIONIZING their products. I think even the diehard Fanboys have to be sick of the incremental changes. BIG CHANGES FOR GOD'S SAKE! February 1, 2015 Reply jon wills U kinda look like Channing Tatum February 2, 2015 Reply marlene236xx Hi! Thank you for this video! I think I will get the new macbook air. I am currently using the old macbook white since 2008! This still works very well accept the broken battery. I have to have it always with me because I am a student and the thinness and the light weight is perfect. Hopefully the extra usb hub wouldn´t bother me… I am curious about the price February 4, 2015 Reply StickyBitch apple is generally good at guessing what ports will become obsolete so I dont think we have to worry about that too much…. but a separate charging port would be nice February 7, 2015 Reply Bruce Lee what are those things below your display? February 7, 2015 Reply mike212916 will i be able to plug in a regular flash drive in that one port? thats all i care about.. February 8, 2015 Reply Dr Ducktor i think it is great but im sticking with the 2014 February 10, 2015 Reply Marcello Nardone man I need that extra space for a microphone and sd cards. I mean c'mon Apple February 13, 2015 Reply Hilltop Gaming wait where would you put your sd cards February 15, 2015 Reply Alyssa Daniels This new MacBook is gonna be hideous… I would never spend my money on such garbage. If they launch this, they would definitely not get my business. Why would you take away the a USB port and the sd card slot. Biggest waste of time. February 16, 2015 Reply Shane Tom Half of this information is false… February 17, 2015 Reply Khalid Husain the new broadwell doesn't really need fans February 21, 2015 Reply Ali Zade i need 2 usb ports!!!!!!!! February 21, 2015 Reply Sexy Unicorn I'm pretty sure they'd make you buy an sd and usb hub slot. There's no way they'd just give it to you in the package knowing Apple. February 22, 2015 Reply Rodolfo Ruiz Please apple please do this i will sooooo buy this!!!😍😍😍 February 22, 2015 Reply Manas v Will it be below 1100$ mate February 25, 2015 Reply Timothy Tim D doesnt get along with who?! February 28, 2015 Reply Mafioso518 My 2010 MacBook(white) is ridiculously slow and sluggish, and it's time to get a new laptop. Not sure if I should get the air or wait… March 4, 2015 Reply Jeepers Kreepers Nah, the XPS 13 makes MacBook Air look like laptop from the 90s. They need to do this. March 9, 2015 Reply michael99uk Apple didn't take away the Fan bcos they made it possible INTEL made it possible. March 9, 2015 Reply Wassim Worst macbook ever March 9, 2015 Reply ripperx444 This is just a giant phone now.. This is not a computer! If I run idea and Photoshop at once this thing will die!!! March 10, 2015 Reply THEGAMINGHELP101 This is just stupid I mean I get the getting rid of regular USB but we still need at least 3 and if one will be used for charging it than we need 4. Getting rid of the SD card slot is meh cuz I don't use it but than they should put a micro SD slot than. March 10, 2015 Reply Arne Maeschaelck And yes, 9to5mac was completely right. Steve Jobs would never agree with any move Tim Cook has made so far. I still prefer Apple and think they're cool, but they used to have better designed products than they do now. So happy I bought a new Macbook Pro Retina 3 weeks ago, which still looks a little bit like a normal high quality Apple designed Macbook. March 10, 2015 Reply ChrizzyTech is the resolution better than the 15inch retina display? March 10, 2015 Reply Riley Mitchell I think it is only a MacBook. If you look on apple.com then you can find out that the air is staying that way and this laptop will be along with the air and pro. March 10, 2015 Reply Nadin Smh but still buying one March 11, 2015 Reply Typical Lilli I don't know if I should get the older MacBook Air or this one because I think this one is beautiful and all but I would love to edit videos and stuff but I don't know if this one could handle it March 14, 2015 Reply Carl Hezel it's just a MacBook, not MacBook Air not Macbook Pro just Macbook March 16, 2015 Reply Raziel Madrigal Did the Macbook Air came out already and if not when is it coming out? & How much is it?
